Laurel Oak Golf and Country Club is an upscale deed restricted Country Club lifestyle community that’s guarded 24/7. Located in Sarasota, FL about 1.5 miles east of I-75 off Bee Ridge Exit, this 813 acres community consists of 409 home sites, two championship 18-hole golf courses, 12 Har Tru tennis courts, one junior Olympic-sized heated pool, a 45,000 sq. ft. clubhouse, scattered lakes, undisturbed live oaks, pine trees and some natural wetlands.

The majority of homes are estate size homes averaging between 3,000 and 4,000 sq ft under air, but it’s possible to find homes that are as small as 1,800 sq ft under air and as big as 10,000 sq ft under air. The average size lot ranges from 20,000 sq ft to 45,000 sq ft, but it’s possible to find a few lots as small as 9,000 sq ft and as big as 74,000 sq ft. Construction started in 1990, and for the next ten years most of the community was build, with a few homes built after 2000.

Laurel Oak Country Club is a private, member-owned club that offers 600 Golf memberships, 240 Tennis memberships and an unlimited Social Memberships. Residency in the Laurel Oak Community is not a requirement of membership and community residents are not obligated to be members.
